About the service
Nacro Peterborough Employability Skills Programme (ESP) offers a business centred environment where adults can learn in a friendly and informative way. The service is designed to help them find and keep work by enabling them to access the education, skills, qualifications and support they need.
We provide:
- training in nationally approved basic literacy, language and numeracy qualifications at entry level 1 to level 2.
- Asdan Employability Award at entry level 2 to level 1
- support to develop interpersonal skills to increase confidence and employability

- an opportunity to have a short-term work experience placement
Service information
Type of service: Education and employment advice
Participants must be between: 18 and 64
Anyone who is unemployed and registered with Job Centre Plus
When can I apply?
Throughout the year
How long will it last?
Approximately 270 guided learning hours
Full-time programmes are minimum of 20 hours per week
Part-time programmes also available up to 16 hours per week
