About the service
The project aims to deliver housing related floating support services based upon an individuals identified needs with the aim to make vulnerable people feel safe, secure and to develop independence.
Once a referral has been made they are assessed at an interview to see if that are suitable for our services. Once accepted we plan to equip them with the skills to establish an independent future in their own home. Everyone works through a tailored resettlement plan to help them learn about sustaining a tenancy to deal with issues such as drug problems, alcohol problems, paying bills, budgeting, claiming benefits, finding education, training or work.
What will I get out of it?
You will feel and be more secure and confident which will allow you to live independently without the need to offend. We aim to make you responsible for you own reactions and behaviour, time management, organisational skills by assisting you in your housing requirements.
Once you have safe foundations such as housing, food and sleep you are in a position to gain employment or training. This increases your self respect, sense of achievement, and respect for yourself and others and will enable you to reach your goals.
