Consortium appointed to support the Government’s Health and Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion Programme

Manchester community hero chosen to hold Olympic torch

Local youth project manager Rob Littlewood has been chosen to carry the Olympic torch. Robert works on the Hurst Young People’s Project and the Power of One Project. Both projects are based in Tameside, Manchester and are run by Nacro, the crime reduction charity.

Scottish youth project Voice Against Violence was presented with a Philip Lawrence Award at a special event, organised by crime reduction charity, Nacro, in Edinburgh this week. They were joined by Sandra White MSP and Dr Alasdair Allan MSP, Minister for Learning, Science and Scotland's Languages, who presented them with their award.

Local youth project RECLAIM Our Name was presented with a Philip Lawrence Award at a special event, organised by crime reduction charity, Nacro, at Manchester Town Hall last night. They were joined by Mrs Frances Lawrence MBE and the deputy Lord Mayor of Manchester, Cllr Elaine Boyes, who presented RECLAIM Our Name with their award.
