What do I need to tell my employer about my criminal record and/or mental health?

For information on disclosing criminal convictions and mental health history please contact the Resettlement Plus Helpline on 020 7840 6464.

Nacro also publishes a wide range of resources about issues facing people with criminal conviction, such as finding somewhere to live, claiming unemployment benefits and applying for work. You can order them from the Helpline or go to Downloads and select 'Resettlement' in the 'Filter results by' column.

You could also contact the Mind Infoline for advice on disclosing mental health issues on 0845 766 0163.
